Our Wines:

At Domaine Artefact we are dedicated to growing Rhone grape varietals and vinifying and blending them in traditional and innovative manners.

Our 30-acre “domaine” is planted with traditional Rhone varietals consisting of Grenache Noir (Alban clone), Syrah (Alban Clones “Cote Rotie”, “Power Block” and “Baby Block”, “James Berry” Entav 470 and Entav 362 clones), Cunoise (FPS 01) and Mourvedre (Entav 753 and Tablas Creek A clone). Our white varietals consist of Grenache Blanc (Entav 141 and Tablas Creek A clones), Viognier (Entav 642 and FPS 01), Roussanne (Entav 468 clone) and Marsanne (Entav 574 clone). On the valley floor our soil is a mixture of clay and loam, on the south facing hillsides there is a combination of sandy loam and decomposed granite. Our vines are grafted onto 101-14, 1103P, 5BB, 110R and 420A root stocks.

We are committed to maintaining our vineyards to the highest standards, limiting our fruit crop and sparing no expense in creating the highest quality wines.
